Double Espresso.
(I cheated a bit, since here you can only get to-go coffee, but it's one of the best coffees I've had in London, and a really inspiring place). People come and go, and yet
when a door closes
you're surprised.
As if you forget such things exist:
goodbyes, heartbreak, longing,
desperation
and need.
We have short feelings span.
We forget
and put things in drawers,
we Marie Kondo-ed our hearts
and based everything on joy -
the most fleeting illusion there ever was.
Joy comes and goes
in waves.
We should stop being afraid of complexity
and most of all,
ambiguity.
